Resolved Question: What's it like in Poland?
I have to do a report on Poland for school. My teacher said it was okay to interview someone. Can you please tell what it is like to live there.
Here are a few questions you could answer if you need more specific detail:
1: How long was school? (how many hours a day? How many years until you graduate?)
2: Who is in charge of Poland? (King, queen, president etc.)
3: Where could you buy food?
4: Did you have a limited amount of water you could use?
5: If you were to start a day there, what would be priority on your to-do list?
6: How old were kids when they learned to read and/or write [did most kids go to school?]
7: Were there any common health problems or diseases you had to avoid?
8: Do you/did you like living there? Why, or why not?
Those are some helpful questions you could answer. If you do not want to answer some you do not have to. You do not have to use my specific questions at all. One last thing; when you answer, tell if you want to have a name show on my school project, or prefer to be named as an anonymous person. Just so that I can give credit ;)

Resolved Question: What is it like living in
Economy, weather, culture. I'm 57. My grandparents came to USA from Poland. I spoke fluent Polish when I was 5 years old but unfortunately lost it from lack of use during my life. I'm sure I could pick it up again though. I'm thinking about trying to go to live in Poland when I retire. I'm fed up with the liberal, immoral culture of the US. Can someone help me out with a little first hand info?
