Resolved Question: What would be the best
I've got holiday coming up and want to go there to take some shots of the sky - however I've been told it's difficult to get to, especially if you don't have a car. Can anyone give a rough example of the route I would take in order to get there? @ BRIAN Surely you can't be that stupid? Really?

Resolved Question: What could make a
While doing a 4-day return trip from San Pedro de Atacama (Chile) to Uyuni (Bolivia), I stayed in a hostel where the bed I slept in had a peculiar property: when I rustled the blanket, some patches would suddenly glow for a brief moment - a short flash of light. Similarly, when I patted the mattress, the patted patch would briefly illuminate. At first I thought I was suffering from some side effect of altitude sickness / lack of oxygen, but the next morning, people sharing the same room also observed the effect. This only appeared to be the case for my own bed - other beds in the hostel did not do such a thing, and it seemed an entirely unintended effect, leading me to suspect it might be an infestation of sorts. So, is there such a thing as a bioluminescent bed infestation (known to exist in Bolivia)? Bacteria? Algae? Bugs? Is it anything I need to worry about?
