Resolved Question: Why is it most immigrants
Again if you are not familiar with my questions, im actually an American teenager from Seattle. For all of my life, I have wanted to move to your great country and i defiantly will seek out living that dream in the future (if i could be so honored).
However, getting to my actual question.. I have noticed that most people immigrating to Canada either want to be in Toronto or Vancouver. I think that's totally awesome! However, it greatly intrigues me to live in a place like "Summerside, Prince Edward Island", "Windsor Ontario", "Airdrie Alberta". To me, at-least having some contact with places like that shows you the true heart of Canada after you get past the flashiness of the big city.
Vancouver is a fantastic city, however if it were up to me, i think id rather experience a place like Windsor Ontario first, rather then jump into what i think is "ideal" right off the bat (and most likely unaffordable to any regular human being). I see your point. In my family, we have had the value of "hard work" instilled into us. I know if i just moved to someplace as great as Vancouver when (if) i first began living in Canada, it would be less meaningful then if i worked my way up
