Resolved Question: What are my rights as a
I live in an apartment building in Orillia, ON. I have some...objections to the way the superintendant has been handling some issues and am just wondering if there's anything I can do about it. When I came home tonight the superintendant had put up a notice stating that some furniture and plastic bottles have been found in the dumpster and apparently we're on the city's "watch" list for garbage removal, someone from the city is coming to investigate and we may lose the dumpster and be responsible for taking our own garbage to the dump. Can they actually do that?
My second question is in regards to parking. The superintendant assigned us specific parking spaces, which we pay for as part of the rental agreement, mine happens to be in the back row of the parking lot. She then posted signs around the building stating that all visitor's must park in the back row, leading me to lose my parking space to visitor's constantly, she's also now informed me that I can't park there for the remainder of the winter as that is where the plan on piling the snow, she has not assigned me a different space, just told me to park elsewhere (which would then possibly lead to me stealing someone else's space that they pay for). Is there anything I can do?
