Resolved Question: In Iron Man 3, why is Ben
He's half-English, half-Hindi, but the Mandarin is half-English, half-Mongolian (which means technically that he isn't ethnically Mandarin Chinese, but that's not the point). Couldn't they find a more accurate actor to portray this character? I know that the Mandarin was a somewhat racist caricature when he was created, but replacing Mongolian with Hindi isn't any less racist. I know that Kingsley is a good actor, but he's not appropriate.
Why don't the same people who opposed Nick Fury as being Afro-American oppose this? Isn't this race-changing? I'm glad that you recognized the change of Bane's ethnicity. Also, Ra's Al-Ghul and Talia Al-Ghul are supposed to be mixed Arab-Japanese, and Black Widow is supposed to be Russian, yet they weren't in the films.
